Both the brand and company name are derived from the expression "Bohemia", the term used for a territory situated in the modern-day western Czech Republic. Upright and grand pianos have been produced in this part of the country for over one hundred years, with piano-making being in the local workforce's blood for many generations. All instruments are of top quality, traditionally made by hand by the best craftsmen within the industry.
