Schubert
On the occasion of the Franz Schubert memorial
year 1997, Bösendorfer created a special edition: the exquisite
Franz Schubert Modelsl. The design is Modelslled after the clear,
slightly curved lines of 18th century Biedermeier furniture, following
the construction techniques of the time. The fallboard is decorated
with a hand-made medal produced by the Viennese porcelain manufacturer
Augarten and features a portrait of Franz Schubert.

Strauss
The Johann Strauss Modelsl is inspired by
the instrument owned by the master composer himself. Combining elements
from different several historical periods, the instrument features
beautifully carved legs, an ornamental music desk and a decorated
fallboard. The under side of the lid and inner rim is finished in
striking Maple wood, and the Lyre is created in the shape of the
classic Greek instrument. Upon request all Bösendorfer pianos
can be delivered in a Johann Strauss finish. |

Chopin
Bösendorfer built this exclusive masterpiece of classic design
using the superior technical workmanship. The beautifully detailed
hand-carvings are inspired by the pianos Chopin played while during
his 1848 tour of England and Scotland. The commemorative hand-engraved
plaque on the name board is produced in solid silver and then gold
plated featuring the composer's signature. |
